5/3/1: Prowler Sprints: 3/26/12

Prowler #4 3/26/12:

Weight: 90 lbs
Distance: 40 yards/Lap
Laps: 10
Rest: 1.5 minutes
Terrain: Asphalt

Decided to instead of using my GPS watch to decide the distance I mark it by myself.
Got a measuring wheel and chalk and marked 40 yards to sprint/walk to.
The driveway I am using has a slight incline on the way back so decided to use the top horizontal bar downhill and the vertical bars uphill.
Not sure if it’s only 40 yards instead of 50 yards or the change in bar positioning BUT I was actually able to finish 10 laps today!
Not only that but I sprinted the whole time and felt I could have easily done it with an extra 90 lbs more stacked on the prowler!

5/3/1: Prowler: 3/22/12

Prowler #3 3/22/12:

Weight: 90 lbs
Distance: 52 yards/Lap
Laps: 6
Terrain: Asphalt
Rest Time: 1 minute
Walking Time: 5m 11s
Total Time: 11m 10s

Third time using the prowler, 2nd time doing it at 52 yards per lap.
Still kicking my ass and only able to walk 6 laps with it.
Couldn’t do the same driveway because a truck blocked the path so I had to use an alternate trail nearby.
Forgot to adjust the rest time from 1m to 1.5 minute because I suck at this time.
Hopefully I can work to 10 laps soon and then build up speed from there.

Prowler #2 3/19/12:

Weight: 90 lbs

Second time using the prowler and decided to increase the distance.
Still suffering from some DOMS from yesterdays lifting session so decided to just do a steady walk with it.
Even with just walking it still hurt doing this real good.
Ran out of gas after 6 laps when my goal was 10.
I think next time I will increase the rest time from 1 minute to 1.5 minutes.
