Week 18: Workout B

Week 18: 9/9/11

Good workout today. Still not feeling as strong as I did a couple of weeks ago but I think I am slowly getting back there.
Watched a couple of guys doing VERY heavy squats and deadlifts today and that motivated me. Want to be able to lift those massive weights one day!

Pre-Workout Warmups:


Standing Ab Pull Down:

Glute-Ham Raise:​ BW x (8/6)

 

Lifting:

Squats:

Not happy with the squats today. Thought I was going deep enough but I was not breaking parallel.
Going to consider this a stall.

 

Overhead Press:

Bar x (2×5)
85 x 5

130 x (4/4/2)

Much better than the last session but was struggling still.
Maybe next time.

 

Deadlift:
WU
215 x 5
260 x 3
305 x 2
WS
350 x (1×3)

Better than last time but unable to do the full set.
Maybe next time.

 

Accessory Exercises:

Chin-up:

WU
BW x 5

+45 x (5/5/4)

Felt heavy even though I deloaded.

Made sure I am not using momentum this time to bring myself up.

Prone Bridge:
(45s/35s/35s)

Tired by the time I started doing these.

Cardio:
none
