Feeling good today and nothing much to do.
So decided to drag the empty sled to class and back.
No plates added to the sled as I would have been late to class if I did.

Good class and even kept my mask on 3/4 of the time.
Did some crazy drill at the end of class that almost made me vomit.
Good times!

PS:

Attempted to swing the Battle Rope over my head w/ my Training Mask on after class.
Forgot how I did it last time and somewhat fatigued from the sled drag and class.
Did poorly trying to do it and will need to try again next time.

For some reason I thought there was a conditioning class today at my school.
Arrived there and decided to do my own conditioning drills because there was no conditioning at that time and I didn’t feel like doing the Cardio Kickboxing class.
Used the 50′ Battle Ropes, 25 lb Kettlebell, and 15 lb Medicine Ball and just did random stuff with it for an hour.
Finished it off doing some windshield wipers on the pull-up bar, which I now have a tendency to do a few reps before I leave the school!

Conditioning: 1 Mile Prowler Drag, Krav Maga: Conditioning & 1 Mile Prowler Drag Again: 12/19/12

Prowler Drag to Class:

Slept terrible again before work.
Then I slipped and broke my fast and ate some cookies at work!
Made myself feel weak doing that and wanted to cleanse myself with some hard conditioning!
Didn’t have time to make it to do the Cardio Kickboxing class so decided to load up my Prowler with a light load and drag it to and from class.
Even with a much lighter load compared to last week it was still a challenge but not as much.

Conditioning class I really enjoyed today!
We did a circuit that lasted 2 minutes each and one of them was the Battle Ropes.
I think I did well until after I hit the 1 minute mark and I just died on the ropes!
REALLY need to quit smoking so my endurance will improve!

PS:
Went to get 2 rotisserie chicken breast once I got home and found out the workers there saw me drag the sled and thought I was insane pulling that sled from where I was coming from!

Dropped the car off to get an oil change then walked to class then walked back afterwards to pick up the car.
Really excited to go to class today.
I received my very 1st 16 oz gloves to use for sparring and the heavy bag!
(I am slowly trying to get gear so I can start sparring properly)

A couple guys decided to spar a few rounds before class and got me to try a round with them.
I didn’t have shin guards or head gear at this time so I chose to only use my arms while my partner can do whatever.
Fighting handicapped like this sucks and showed how much of my skill has gone rusty over the years of not training.
It is good though as now that I feel like I am at the bottom, there is no place else to go but up!
Learned much from that quick 2 minute round.

The heavy bag class was great as we got soem new gym rings that we was made to use for ring dips as part of a conditioning drill for warm-ups.
Ring dips sucks and much more difficult than regular ones and excited to try them more often and maybe even work on muscle-ups one day!

I finished the class by using the brand new 50′ battle rope that my school just acquired.
Think I swung it around for 45-60 seconds and that did it for me to finish the day.
