Conditioning: 700 lbs Sled Push PR: 2/17/16

Conditioning: 2/17/16

Realized that its been around 3 weeks since I managed to do a 600 lbs sled push.
Wanted to see if I can improve on that.
I had doubts in my head as I was building up to it but managed to overcome it.
Personal Record of 700 lbs Sled Push and hoping to do 16 plates sometime soon!

Cycle 13 – 3s Week: Bench Press: 2/12/16

Great amount of sleep today but only felt average as I start the day (5/10).
Brought my homemade parallettes to the gym so I can work on it more.
Still suck at it.

Also did some more sldgehammer work for fun.

Finished with some prone and standing sled rope pull to turn the arms to jello.

Conditioning: Yoke Carry, Tire Drills, Sledgehammer Strikes, Sled Push Sprint with Sled Drag & Battle Ropes: 2/10/16

Not enough sleep and felt average as I start the day.
Got myself an old tire to play around with some tire drills.
After tossing the tire around I figured I need to make myself a slam ball for throws …

Finished with some fun sled work and battle ropes also.

Broken sleep and felt average as I start the day.
Training max has been dropped since last squat session.
Made some minor fixes on my form and realized my weak point., which is my lower back and posterior chain.
Going to somehow strengthen those weak points in time.

Conditioning: Yoke Carry, Sledgehammer Strikes, Prone Sled Rope Pull/Sprints: 2/2/16

Conditioning: 2/2/16

Planning to not go to crazy and brfeak in my new 10 lbs sledgehammer to work on technique.
Ended up destroying my arm with single arm sled rope pulls.
Fun times!

Yoke Carry:
(180 lbs Yoke)

+90 x 20 yards
– Rest 2 minutes
+90 x 20 yards
– Rest 2.5 minutes
+90 x 20 yards
– Rest 2.75 minutes
+90 x 20 yards

Lighter load today.
Plan was not too go to crazy today.
Owners added tape on the bar making it slide less easily.

Sledgehammer Strikes:

Left Arm Side Strikes: 10 x 15
– Rest 1 minute
Right Arm Side Strikes: 10 x 15
– Rest 1 minute
Left Arm Side Strikes: 10 x 15
– Rest 1 minute
Right Arm Side Strikes 10 x 15
– Rest 1 minute
Left Arm Overhead Strikes: 10 x 15
– Rest 1 minute
Right Arm Overhead Strikes: 10 x 15
– Rest 1.75 minute
Left Arm Overhead Strikes: 10 x 15
– Rest 2 minute
Right Arm Overhead Strikes: 10 x 15


Working on technique.
Improving on overhead strikes but side strikes need work.

Prone Single Arm Rope Sled Pull with Sprints:
(72 lbs Butcher Sled)

Left Arm Sled Rope Pull: +90 x 20 yards
– Rest 2.5 minutes
Right Arm Sled Rope Pull: +90 x 20 yards


This sucked more than I expected!

Conditioning: Yoke Carry, Farmers Walk & Sled Rope Pull/Sprints: 1/30/16

Conditioning: 1/30/16

Debating on doing any work today then I found out the Yoke was delivered and put together at my gym!
Never used one before so I was VERY excited to go train and use it.
Farmers walk handles was delivered too and a longer and thicker battle rope!
So much new toys I decided to try and use as much as I can and had a great day!
It did break my body down awfully good!

Yoke Carry:
(180 lbs Yoke)

+90 x 20 yards
-Rest 2 minutes
+180 x 20 yards
– Rest 2.5 minutes
+180 x 20 yards
– Rest 3 minutes
+180 x 20 yards
